Community Herb Classes
We offer $0-$20 sliding scale community herb classes. All donations go directly into our Black and Indigenous scholarship fund. The recordings are available for purchase after the live class.
Herbal Training
We offer different paths towards herbal training: a foundational path called The Home Herbalist and an intermediate path called The Community Herbalist.

Social Justice Lens
Our school is dedicated towards the ongoing practice of unpacking how systems of power and oppression impact health and healing. Our programs and classes are oriented through a social justice lens. We believe that an anti-oppressive framework is essential to an inclusive herbal education.
Founded in 2019
Now and Then Herb School was founded in 2019 by herbalists Sam Roberts and Renée Camila with their first program, the Now and Then Herbal Apprenticeship (now called The Home Herbalist, a foundational path).
